Here's what going on with baby #4! I'm almost 15 weeks now so finally in the 2nd trimester. Hoping the nausea starts easing more as it gets further along. I definitely have a baby bump (as you can see below!) now, but I guess it's time to start showing, right? :)
Between my regular health issues and "normal" pregnancy stuff I've been feeling pretty rough to be honest. But we're hanging in there and know that we'll get through it all eventually. Knowing that the blessings far outweigh the hardships makes it a little easier to deal with. But I have to admit some days I'm just tired and wanting a break.
Had a doctor's appointment today and everything looks good. The nurse said baby is an active little thing. It kept moving away from the doppler while she tried to get the heartbeat so that was funny. The reading was 174 so it was definitely stirred up! :) We get to find out boy or girl at the next app so we're all excited for that. Oh, and I had also gained 3 lbs since the last time but since I actually missed one and rescheduled it had actually been about 7 weeks. I'm telling myself that isn't too bad. And hoping I definitely don't do that between every appointment. lol
So there's a little update on how it's going. I'll be sure to write again when we find out what it is! Last but not least is a picture of the baby bump.....

Fun and Crazy Kids!
Just wanted to share a few pictures of the kiddos. They have so much fun playing around the house. And of course Darcey thinks she's as big as the older two! Hope you enjoy seeing some of our crazy moments....
{silly girls....sticking out their tongues instead of smiling!}
{he's teaching her how to play army....and she loves it!}
{Delancey was reading to Darcey....sweetest thing ever!}

{Dathan was reading and Darcey just had to be up in the chair with him. She's playing on the "laptop".}
As you can probably tell, we've been spending lots of time in the living room just hanging out these days. But even though I might be too sick to get around much, the kids definitely still manage to find plenty to do! Which is probably why the background in all the pics is so messy. Shhhh, but don't tell anyone, okay? :)

Child Training Bible {Giveaway!}
I ran across this great looking product on facebook this morning and just wanted to share! I would love to have this as a reference for looking up scriptures when dealing with the kids and to be honest stuff for myself as well! It seems like sometimes no matter how much I think I know where a certain verse is I'm always forgetting when I need it most so this would be amazing to have certain ones already marked so easily. I also like that you can use it with whatever Bible you already have on hand. Since we prefer KJV only and it's sometimes hard to find products in that version then this will work great for us! But without going on and on about it any longer, here's the link for the blog to find out all about it and also sign up for the giveaway if you want! Good luck and be sure to let me know if you win. :)

What We're Up To!
Just a little update on what we've been up to around here the past couple weeks. The month of February seems to be flying by! (except for those days when I'm really nauseated, of course. ha!)
We celebrated my 30th birthday on the tenth. Blake surprised me by staying home from work to help take care of the kids that day since I'd been having a hard week. They brought me breakfast in bed, Dathan gave me a new Bible that he'd secretly asked his dad to buy, and Delancey made me the sweetest card. I got a haircut that afternoon (which I unfortunately do not like) and then we had a yummy, home-cooked supper with my parents and brother that night. All in all, it was a good day.....even if leaving behind the 20's for good was a little bit sad I guess. :-)
Valentine's day was a little rough with me being super sick for most of it. The kids and I had a good day together though and Blake brought home some fun, little gifts and sweets to celebrate. The girls actually ended up going somewhere with Grandma so we got some unusual one-on-one time with Dathan. I think he really liked having his dad all to himself for a change! :-)
And on all the other many "normal" days, we've been mostly hanging out here and just doing life. Lots of laying around time for me with the kids playing together. It's great that the older ones can help with Darcey so much....one good thing about there being a few years difference in age between them! They are all growing like weeds and seem to learn something new or do some crazy funny thing every day. It's really hard not to be able to do alot right now but I'm still thankful to just be here with them.
To wrap things up I guess we're just hanging in there! If we all manage to eat good meals, do a little school work read or play, and just survive then it's been a good day. :-) As tired as I am at the moment of being sick, I know it will pass one day and I'll forget how tough it really was.....especially in light of how special this new baby is gonna be! Please still keep mine and the baby's health in your prayers in the days to come. And I'll try to check back in again soon......

Things I Love {Thursday}
This has been a busy, crazy week and I definitely have some things to share that I've loved about it! So let's get started, shall we? :)
~ Feeling much less nauseated for at least part of every day. (YAY!!!) This is a huge thing really and I'm so thankful for the Lord helping me with it. It's been alot more manageable the past few days and I've actually been able to do much more than before.
~ Seeing a missionary friend for the first time since he came back from a long stay in Brazil. He is such a great man of God and the kids love him to death. It's awesome to see Dathan have that kind of hero and role model!
~ Getting to attend some campmeeting services and hear wonderful preaching from the Lord. I was so thankful to feel like going and get to be there with my family! The best part has been seeing how much the kids have really wanted to go and enjoyed being there.
~ Darcey sleeping a little later than usual (which gives me more rest) and the older kids sleeping through the night for several nights in a row. At our house, getting good sleep is rare so I am always thankful when some of us do!
~ My parents helping out so much with the kids when we need them and also just enjoying spending time with them.
~ Blake having a steady job and working so hard when he has overtime without complaining. (which has been alot the past couple weeks) We are blessed to have our needs provided for and I'm doubly blessed to be able to stay home with my babies while he works.
~ And last but never least always so thankful that God loved us enough to send His own Son to die for us. I don't ever want to get over being amazed at that!! Our older kiddos have been asking lots of questions about being saved and I think the Lord has been working in their hearts. I can't wait for the day that they each get to experience salvation for themselves. :)
Well, there's some things I'm loving! Won't you join me in sharing some of your things? I'd love to hear them!
